On the fourth day of #UNGA81 Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev participated in high-level events and held bilateral meetings:
☑️ He attended the High-Level Ministerial Session on the Implementation of the Two-State Solution.
☑️ At the High-Level Event on the Climate Implementation Bridge (BRIDGE) organized by Turkish #COP31 Presidency, he emphasized that ambitious #climate plans must be followed by robust implementation, and noted how the #BRIDGE initiative complements the #BICFIT Dialogue launched under Azerbaijan's #COP29 Presidency.
☑️ At the High-Level Event on Forging Alliances and Strengthening Collaboration along Migration Routes co-organized by @UNmigration, Azerbaijan and other partners, he delivered concluding remarks, highlighting that #migration routes are not simply pathways to be managed, but platforms for #cooperation, shared #responsibility, and mutual benefit.
☑️ He held a bilateral meeting with @UNESCAP Executive Secretary Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana to discuss partnerships and cooperation during and beyond #Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of 82nd session of UNESCAP.
☑️ He held bilateral talks with H.E. Saeed Al Hajeri, Minister of State at the MFA of the UAE, his fellow co-chair of the UAE-Azerbaijan Joint Committee for Strategic Partnership to discuss key issues on the bilateral #partnership agenda and future engagements within the Joint Committee.
