The 1,678th day of the full-scale armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine has begun.
A total of 229 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy launched 90 airstrikes, dropping 277 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 8,845 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,918 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops.
In Sumy region, the enemy subjected the settlements of Havrylivska Sloboda, Korchakivka, Pysarivka, Yastrubshchyna, Korenok, Mohrytsia, Tovstodubove, Sadky, Mar’ine and Pustohorod to artillery fire. In addition, the areas of Sumy, Khotin and Vilna Sloboda came under airstrikes.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck two areas where enemy personnel were concentrated and four enemy UAV command posts.
On the North Slobozhanskyi front, the invaders launched six attacks near Bachivsk, Hirky and Volfyne.
On the South Slobozhanskyi front, Ukrainian units repelled seven enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to advance near Starytsia, Kozacha Lopan, Volokhivske and Prykolotne.
On the Kupiansk front, the enemy attacked twice near Kivsharivka and Kolisnykivka.
Attempts to breach our defences were repelled on the Lyman front, where the occupiers launched seven attacks near Kolodiazi, Novoselivka, Zarichne, Lyman and Dibrova.
On the Sloviansk front, the enemy launched three assault actions near the settlement of Mykolaivka.
On the Kramatorsk front, the occupiers attacked once towards the settlement of Fedorivka Druha.
A total of 25 attacks were recorded on the Kostiantynivka front. The invaders conducted assault actions near Mykolaipillia, Kostiantynivka, Novoselivka, Illinivka, Dovha Balka and Rusynyi Yar.
On the Pokrovsk front, our defenders stopped 20 attacks. The enemy was active near Serhiivka and Molodetske, and also launched assaults towards Dobropillia, Vilne, Bilytske, Chernihivka and Myrne.
On the Oleksandrivka front, the invaders launched five attacks towards the settlements of Sichneve and Verbove.
On the Huliaipole front, the occupiers attacked 12 times. The enemy attempted to advance near Rizdvianka, Kopani, Yehorivka and Myrne.
On the Orikhiv and Prydniprovske fronts, the enemy conducted no assault actions over the past day.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy and are effectively resisting along all sections of the front.
Overall, the losses of the russian invaders over the past day amounted to 2,090 personnel. The enemy also lost one tank, eight armoured combat vehicles, 49 artillery systems, two multiple rocket launchers, two air defence systems, 12 unmanned ground robotic systems, 1,382 unmanned aerial vehicles, 490 vehicles and seven pieces of special equipment.
