Oleshky: ceasefire and assistance to civilians
As a reminder, from 03:00 Kyiv time on 27 October, Ukraine is introducing a ceasefire in a designated area to conduct a humanitarian operation in the temporarily occupied town of Oleshky, Kherson Oblast.
The ceasefire is established exclusively for the humanitarian operation: delivering aid to residents currently in the town and preparing for the free movement of civilians out of Oleshky.
During this period, we urge everyone to be especially careful about the information they receive and share.
Use official sources of information.
Do not trust unverified reports, and do not spread rumours about the routes, timing or locations of civilian movements and humanitarian convoys.
The Defence Forces of Ukraine are doing everything possible to assist the residents of Oleshky and will ensure the implementation of the relevant decisions to guarantee the safety and rescue of our fellow citizens.
